No one was injured, but the aircraft was written off. The flight was on a routine training mission. The crash was part of the deadliest day of the Iraq War in terms of US fatalities.
Marine Corps and Air Force crew collided during a training mission over the Gulf of Aden , resulting in ten deaths and two injuries. Three crew members died in the crash and one crew member was treated at a local hospital.
