What ticket does my child need? If your child is a primary or secondary school student, they can use their Student SmartRider, which gives them a 70 cent student fare for any journey, Monday to Friday, throughout the school year. On the weekends and summer holidays, the Student SmartRider entitles your child to concession travel. The Student SmartRider is the only way to access this 70 cent fare.
